Yes. So I am lax. I know this. But kind of only with posting and not with knitting, so that's nice.
Oh, and I am also lax with pictures. Anyways. Just want to say that I am knitting knitting knitting away on the Linus
Blanket and it is going to be hard to give it away cuz I like it so much... Also... I started the scarf, ripped it all
out, and then started again. It was too wide before. I always start scarves out too wide. Annoying. Anyways, I understand
how to knit striped in three colors now, which is exciting... The key is....... do the stripes in an uneven number of
rows! Yes! That way, the tails from the colors are on opposite sides of the scarf for you to weave up as you go,
etc. I was worried about having two tails on one side... Silly thirteen. I don't know if I will post any pictures of
the scarf, though, because the person it is for has actually looked at this site in the past... and maybe I want the scarf's
actual appearance to be a surprise... So. I shall ponder.

Not Knitting Stuff
First *full* day of summer, that is. I made a cake yesterday in commemoration. Cuz it's always fun
to make commemorative cakes. My last one, which was last week in honor of Friday the 13th, sucked, though. This new one is
Fuckin Yummy. I used the recipe on the back of the box of Hershey's cocoa. Man. It rocks.
Actually, I was very domestic yesterday. In addition to baking a cake (and knitting some, of course) I
did Housework. I vacuumed (or more accuartely pushed cat hair around with a vacuum cleaner), cleaned the bathroom, did laundry,
did general tidying up... all while wearing 4-inch stilettos. That, my friends, is Big Time Fun. Feet hurt, though. Must suffer
to be, hm, self-aware and affected, I guess. Or something.
Anyways. That's all for now. I'm leaving up the Vast Super Cat picture cuz I like it. I will do more posting
and fun with pictures this week. Promise.
