Slightly Unfinished Change Purse
It needs a button. Right now all the change will fall out. Once it has a button, only some of the change will fall out. Knitted with pretty green and black Tahki/Stacy Charles Cotton Classic. Needles size 6, I think. Pattern is in Kris Percival's book, Knitting Pretty. Lame title, nice book.

Now That's Pretty Fucking Cool and Impressive
I could not be more proud of myself for finally fguring out double-pointed needles. They are scary and fun. I will be making lots of mittens and socks, doubtless. This is the beginnings of a Drink Cozy (see below).

Cozy Cozy Drinks
These are swell drink cozies that keep your hands warm and zombie fingers at bay. Same yarns as the change purse; size 5 dpn (woo jargon). The one on the right is Kris Percival's pattern exactly; the other two I changed by using all-over 1X1 ribbing for more stretch. That is my very favorite glass. The drinks are Orange Crush and Tazo Brambleberry.

My *Very First* Pair of Socks
Goodness. Socks are very entertaining. I will be making lots of them, doubtless. These are made of pretty light blue yarn, Sirdar Legend DK (mix of wool, acrylic, and nylon, so I hope they're sturdy as well as cozy). Size 5 dpn. 2 skeins. Dye lot 060. Basic sock instructions from that Knitting for Dummies book.
