So there is knitting news. Kind of. Not exactly... There's actually just the seed of knitting news to come, really. Here it is. I got a poncho the other day. A knitted one, lightweight, for summer. It's black, and not at all fashion-victim-y, I hope. It is really, really cute. And I am always cold, so it is quite practical. It is an excellent accessory for use with little summery tops and dresses and such that are seasonally appropriate, but far too small when faced with air-conditioned movie theaters and the like. Also it is good for use with low riding pants and skirts, cuz, come on. I'm over that. We all are, one can only hope. But they fit better than others, so you gotta keep wearing them, you know? So anyways, I am inspired. The poncho is just a big rectangle with a hole for your head, basically. Kick ass. I can make all sorts. Endless possibilities. I am terribly excited.

So I've been thinking lately a lot about regret. I have lots of it. What I regret, mostly, is what I have wasted over the years... Time, opportunities, stuff like that. But I realized something. Fretting over it... is just another waste of time. I'm done. Madonna was right. Starting fresh. Doing stuff that's worthwhile. I'm excited. I'll probably even knit more.
